The Possibilities

THE POSSIBILITIES

Riding area:

The property includes a 2,000 m2 riding arena.

Stable with horse boxes:

A stable/warehouse with boxes for 2 horses and plenty of space for storing hay, organic fertilizer, tools and other materials necessary for daily operations.

Well equipped:

There is a separate parking space for the tractor and other agricultural machinery and equipment as well as two further, partially covered boxes for animals, which are currently used to keep the donkeys at night in the cooler months.

Storage areas:

Two 40-foot containers are set up specifically for storing vegetables.

Solar panels:

Solar panels (GROWATT brand) on the roofs make it possible to use solar energy to supply energy to the entire property. The greenhouse: Below the house there are several terraces on which flowers and herbs are grown for personal consumption, a duck pond and a 360 m2 Greenhouse is also included.

24h/365days:

Growing vegetables is possible all year round both outdoors and in a greenhouse. Automatic and controlled:

The greenhouse is automatically controlled by sensors (Prilux system) that allow the greenhouse roof to open and close automatically so that the temperature and humidity are regulated by thermostat/hygrometer.

Protection:

The greenhouse also has external wind sensors that automatically close the openings when the wind rises above a certain level to prevent damage to the greenhouse structure and plants.

Day and night:

Depending on the norms set by the owner, temperature and humidity sensors allow the air inlets in the greenhouse to open and close automatically. Hoses laid on the ground allow drip irrigation to operate at preset rates and times throughout the day and night.

The rainwater tanks:

Independent: There is a rainwater storage tank with a capacity of 398,000 liters and an automatic system for watering the plants. The tank also collects water collected from the roof of the house, which is directed into the tank via a water collection system.

No water problems:

In each field there is a separate cement water tank that can be used as a drinking trough by the farm animals. A stand-alone tank adjacent to the greenhouse is equipped with a float so that excess water collected from the roof of the greenhouse is automatically drained into the main water tank.

The irrigation system:

Everything is connected: there is an extensive irrigation system and water pipes with connections to all the main plots. This system automatically controls the irrigation of crops in all fields.

Optimization:

Certain parameters can be optimized individually for each field, namely the irrigation time, the amount of water to be irrigated per day and the irrigation schedules. There are 3 tanks where fertilizers are dissolved in water with the help of an oxygen pump to carry out irrigation and fertilization, making the whole process efficient.

The cold storage:

A 6 m2 refrigerator is available for storing vegetables, which is the allows electronic adjustment of the desired temperature and humidity (2 separate controllers) depending on the specific requirements of the vegetables to be stored. In the same container there is also space for storing vegetables outside the refrigerator in cold room conditions.

The washing areas:

Clean and Protected: The space between the covered containers is a vegetable washing/storage area with running water.

The compost area:

Own ecosystem: One of the fields is designated as a compost site where natural organic fertilizer is produced for the business. There is an industrial size motorized screen to refine the compost material, designed for use with a tractor, and a place to store organic fertilizer which can then be spread on the land.

Parking space:

The compost site has a cement house used to store farm equipment or shelter livestock.

Other aspects:

- Animals: Currently there are several animals living in the fields that feed on the earth: cattle, chickens, ducks, horses, donkeys, pigs, goats, dogs and cats.

- Fields: All fields have hedges of cedar trees to aid in the protection of crops from excessive wind. The cedar trees are trimmed once per year to ensure maximum protection but checked growth.

- Cultivation fields: All cultivation fields are marked with numbered signs to facilitate the identification and management of the cultivation areas and the work to be carried out by employees.

- Lemon trees : In an upper field there is an orchard with lemon trees that bear abundant fruit.
